FAQ you many concern about:

1. How long does media last for?

Answer: The long lifespan of media depends on the polishing frequency.

There are 2 steps in wheel polishing: coarse polishing and brightening polishing.

Resin is the polishing media in coarse polishing.

Zirconia is the media in brightening polishing.

The consumption of resin is about 0.1% per hour, it takes about 30-40 minutes for coarse polishing, so resin can polish 1500-2000 rims.

The consumption of zirconia is about 0.03% per hour, it takes about 2-3 hours for brightening polishing, so zirconia can polish 1100-1300 rims.

Let's assume we have 8 working hours per day, the media can be last for about 1-1.5 year.

2. How long will one wheel be finished?

Answer: Generally speaking, it may take about three hours, it depends on the requirement of customers towards wheel hubs actually.

There two steps for polishing:

The first step is coarse polishing; it takes about 30-40 minutes.

The second step is brightening polishing; it takes about 2.5-3 hours.

3. Will polishing machine can polish painted wheels?

Answer: Sure, the paint can be cleaned, simply add the de-painting chemical when polishing the machine.

4. Voltage can be customized or not?

Answer: Yes, it can. Just more production time, about 20 to 25 working days. For polishing machine, we suggest customer use it based on 3 phases. It’s more stable than based on single phase.

5. What’s the lead time of machine?

Answer: In general, will take 15 to 20 working days if power supply is 380v 50hz,3phase.

If it is different power supply, it takes about 25 working days.

6. Can we use on single phase?

Answer: Sure, it is possible but not suggested.

As the machine is an industrial equipment. It is better to connect to three phase power supply.

Single phase motor can be easily damaged in case of sudden power cut off.

7. Do need to apply powder varnish to the surface after polishing hubs?

How long does the polished surface stay in good condition if you do not make powder varnish on it?

Answer: Applying a clear varnish or any type of clear coat is not necessary.

If the hubs kept clean and do not use harsh chemicals to clean the finish will remain very good. To get maximum bright finish, you must change the water and polishing liquid very often.
